Win Free Tickets And A Meet & Greet At Reggae Rise Up
- September 24, 2016
Here is your chance to win free tickets and a meet & greet to this weekend’s Reggae Rise Up Sunday Session at Jannus Live with John Brown’s Body!
Since 1996, John Brown’s Body has been at the forefront of the American reggae scene, blazing paths with its patented Future Roots sound. This year the band celebrated 20 years by releasing their eleventh full-length album Fireflies – their third #1 debut on the Billboard Reggae Charts – and embarking on a national tour.
Reggae Rise Up – the nationally recognized production and promotions company best known locally for their annual Tampa Bay area Reggae Rise Up Florida festival held each Spring – is excited to host John Brown’s Body at Jannus Live for their monthly Rise Up Sunday Session concert series this Sunday, September 25th. The Sunday Sessions series has seen tremendous success this summer featuring a variety of acts well-known to fans of the genre such as Passafire, Nahko & Medicine For The People, and The Expendables.
Ted Bowne of the band Passafire had the following to say about John Brown’s Body during a recent interview: “They’re one of our favorite bands. The most underappreciated reggae band in America I think. They absolutely blow everybody else out of the water.”
Don’t miss John Brown’s Body this Sunday night at Jannus Live! Additional performance from Sun-Dried Vibes, NoNeed, and SOWFLO. Doors at 6pm. Tickets $16 in advance; $21 day of show. All ages.
