THINGS TO DO - HELP PAGE!!!

In addition to the main navigation column on the left, and the page header navigation above, the "Things To Do" page adds another level of choices right in the middle of the page, only this time, they're all related to "Things To Do". You can click on the underlined red text beneath the cartoon picture or click on the cartoon itself. Either way, you'll be taken to a page devoted exclusively to whatever topic you chose.

Things To Do Categories...

The "Things To Do" category contains every kind of activity we could think of that you can do on St. Pete Beach. From dining and dancing to drinking and singing your heart out in a karaoke bar, we have attempted to give you as much information as we can about whatever your chosen activity might be. In some instances, a category will open up several sub-categories to choose from. Simply select whatever looks like fun to you.

Sub-Categories...

As an example of a sub-category, lets say you want to go out to a beach bar for a few beers and watch the sunset. You click on "Bars & Nightlife". There are lots of bars on St. Pete Beach, folks. Instead of getting a list of 50 bars, you get a choice of bars sub-categorized into four or five different types. Pubs, Cocktail Lounges, Beach Bars, Sports Bars, with or without full menus, with or without entertainment, etc. You want "Beach Bars", so you click on that and before your very eyes is a list of all the beach bars on the island, and a map with strategically places pins noting the exact location of each beach bar. Isn't technology wonderful!!!

How to Use the Maps...

On the right side of the map page is a list of all bars located right on the beach. Click the name of the bar and the map will show you its exact location. Click on the location pin on the map and a small pop-up will give you valuable information on that particular bar, like street address, phone number, what kind of entertainment they offer, maybe a link to download their menu. Click the Satellite button on the map and get a bird's eye view of your destination. We have placed these map pins so accurately that they not only show you the location, but even which side of the building to enter. You can move the map or satellite image around by simply clicking on it and dragging it. Zoom in and out with the gadget on the left of the screen or by double clicking on the map.
