April is a month filled with life—baby dolphins will be seen with mom and dad in the bays and gulf, birds are making nests and protecting their young, fish are coming out in schools of small babies and everywhere you look, flowers, trees and bushes will be blooming.

Bruno Falkenstein has been walking the beach for 30 years looking for endangered sea turtles and - by his count - he's helped find, mark and deliver between 25,000 and 30,000 baby turtles.

Beach Clean Up 2009 (10.20.09)

Corey Sunday Market by Cleo Robertson

Mimosas, Market, Music and Movies are the catch words for a European style street market opening on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach every Sunday on the block in front of the Beach Theater. The market will feature a mix of produce and food vendors, musicians, plant and flower merchants, artists and crafts persons, a doggie bone baker and other unique vendors. Bald Eagle Nest Alert by Cleo Robertson

We are excited to report that a pair of bald eagles have been observed building a nest in the Tierra Verde Community. The niest is located in Pinellas County's Cabbage Key Management Area, just south of the ball feild on the west side of the pond. You can see the ealges buidling the nest from the sidewalk along the Pinellas Bayway.
