Gulf Beaches Historical Museum Annual Party (3.29.10)

The Gulf Beaches Historical Museum celebrates their life every year by throwing a party. This year, as always, friends dressed up as old-time docents and gave tours of 8th Avenue telling the history as they went by each historic house or building.

The slideshow includes old photos and many displays from the Museum. From old bridges to old typewriters, the impact of World War II to Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio visiting to fish, the Museum has it all. Totally run by volunteers, this gem of a museum should be on your "places to see" list. This is a great place to go on hot afternoon or in the rain!
