Joe Catanzarita
|
I only knew him for a short time, but he was one of those people who didn't take long to know. |
|
I can only marvel that God wanted him so much he tried to take him from us several times. But Joe was a stubborn one. He beat the odds again and again and again and would always reappear at the Seaside Grille after each bout looking a little peaked. But it wouldn't take long, and he'd be wisecracking and getting pissed off again, sometimes just for the hell of it. |

He
was a good husband, even if a trial by his own admission. He also admitted
he had a very good wife who put up with him.
|
|
But God finally said, "Come on Joe, it's time." And Joe went.
I know each of us will carry his bright eyes and happy face in our thoughts.
We ring the bell in honor of Joe, our friend.
He will live in our hearts forever. . .
